Jihee Lee

Ms. Lee worked as an elementary school teacher in a Chicago public school, Glenview/Northbrook School District #30 and a middle school teacher at Gurnee School District #65.

Ms. Lee grew up in Glenview and knew at a very early age that her career would involve working with children.  Not only did she take care of her younger brother but Ms. Lee was the neighborhood babysitter.

For the last 10 years, Ms. Lee has worked as an elementary, and history and language arts middle school teacher.  Also, she has been a private tutor to children and adults who are here in the United States temporarily due to school or a job.  Working in different school districts and with various students, Jihee has realized that there is no one perfect lesson plan or solution for all students.

Children and adults learn in a different manner and at different speeds.  In an ideal setting, every student would receive personalized attention and customized lesson plans.  While this may not be possible in a school setting, Ms. Lee’s goal is to provide the optimal lesson plan tailored to the student’s needs.
