- Fluently add and subtract multi-digit numbers.
- Multiply up to four-digit numbers by one-digit numbers and two-digit numbers by two-digit numbers.
- Divide up to four-digit numbers by one-digit numbers with and without remainders.
- Solve word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
3. Fractions & Decimals
- Understand equivalent fractions and compare fractions with different denominators.
- Add and subtract fractions with like denominators.
- Convert fractions to decimals and compare decimal values.
- Understand and work with mixed numbers and improper fractions.
4. Geometry & Measurement
- Classify and measure angles (right, acute, obtuse).
- Identify and compare geometric shapes based on properties (sides, angles, symmetry).
- Understand perimeter and area of squares and rectangles.
- Use measurement units for length, weight, and capacity (e.g., inches, meters, grams).
5. Data & Graphing
- Interpret and create bar graphs, line plots, and pictographs.
- Understand and calculate mean, median, mode, and range.
6. Algebraic Thinking & Patterns
- Recognize and extend number patterns.
- Use basic equations with unknowns (e.g., 4 × _ = 24).
- Solve multi-step word problems using logical reasoning.
